What is Hepa-Merz®

Hepa-Merz® contains the active ingredients L-ornithine and L-aspartate (LOLA). Both L-ornithine and L-aspartate are amino acids that occur naturally in the body. They play an important role in several processes in the body, including liver metabolism to detoxify ammonia. Ammonia is a neurotoxic substance (nerve poison) which is formed in the intestine during the digestion of protein.
